Lihara Diamonds
Every piece of Lihara jewelry starts with the stone. You choose it: a lab-grown diamond, a natural diamond or a colored gemstone, each independently graded and fully documented.
Three Kinds of Center Stone
- Lab-grown diamonds. Real diamonds, physically, chemically and optically identical to mined diamonds, at a lower price. Most are graded by IGI.
- Natural diamonds. Formed in the earth over billions of years, graded by GIA or IGI.
- Gemstones. Sapphires, emeralds, rubies and more, for a ring or piece that is unmistakably yours.
Independently Graded, Every Time
Every center stone we offer comes with a grading report from IGI or GIA, two of the world's most respected independent laboratories. The report documents the stone's cut, color, clarity and carat weight, and its number can be verified on the laboratory's website.
Grades vary from stone to stone, and we show them openly: each stone's color, clarity, cut, measurements and report are on its page before you choose it. You decide the balance of size, grade and budget that is right for you.
What to Look For
- Cut drives sparkle. For round diamonds, look for Excellent or Ideal.
- Color from D (colorless) down the alphabet. D–F look icy white; G–H look white in most settings, especially yellow or rose gold.
- Clarity from Flawless to Included. VS1 and VS2 are eye-clean for almost everyone.
- Carat is weight, not size. Shape and cut change how large a stone looks.
