IGI & GIA Certification
Are Lihara diamonds certified?
Yes. Every center stone we offer is independently graded by IGI or GIA. The report documents the stone's cut, color, clarity and carat weight, and its number can be verified on the laboratory's website.
Do I get the grading report?
Yes. Each stone's report is shown on its page before you choose it, and your certificate ships with your order.
Are lab-grown diamonds real diamonds?
Yes. Lab-grown diamonds are physically, chemically and optically identical to mined diamonds, with the same crystal structure and hardness (10 on the Mohs scale). The only difference is their origin. We also offer natural diamonds and colored gemstones.
Diamond Quality
What grades do Lihara diamonds come in?
Grades vary from stone to stone, and we show them openly: each stone's color, clarity, cut and measurements are on its page, so you can choose the balance of size, grade and budget that is right for you.
What does VS clarity mean?
VS stands for Very Slightly Included. At VS1 and VS2, inclusions are minor and invisible to the naked eye, and difficult to see even under 10x magnification.
What does D–F color mean?
D, E and F are the top three color grades, colorless diamonds that look completely white. G and H are near-colorless and look white in most settings, especially in yellow or rose gold.

How does buying an engagement ring work?
Choose a setting, then a certified center stone that fits it (or start with the stone). We set the stone for you and make the ring to order.
Which metals can I choose?
14K or 18K white, yellow or rose gold, and platinum on most designs.
Can I design my own piece?
Yes. Lihara Studio lets you design a ring or piece of jewelry in 3D; send it to us and we reply with renderings and a quote within 2 business days.
Shipping & Returns
How long does shipping take?
Because each piece is made to order, please allow 3–4 weeks for production. All orders ship insured with signature required, free within the United States.
What is your return policy?
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, provided the item is unworn and in original condition with all packaging. Some custom orders are final sale, and we always tell you before you pay.
