Lifetime Warranty

Every Lihara piece is built to last. Our warranty backs that up.

What's Covered

Manufacturing Defects

Our lifetime warranty covers any defect in materials or craftsmanship for as long as you own your piece. If a structural issue arises from the way the piece was made — not from wear, damage, or modification — we will repair or replace it at no cost.

Prong & Setting Integrity

If a prong loosens, bends, or breaks under normal wear due to a manufacturing defect, we will re-tip or rebuild the prong and re-secure the stone at no charge. This includes any stone that comes loose from its original factory setting.

Structural Repairs

Defects in the gold setting — including cracking, splitting, or solder joint failures that occur under normal wearing conditions — are fully covered. We will repair or remake the affected component.

Clasp & Closure Defects

If the clasp, hinge, push-back, or any closure mechanism fails due to a manufacturing flaw, we will repair or replace it at no cost.

What's Not Covered

Normal Wear & Tear

Over time, all jewelry experiences some degree of wear. Surface scratches on gold, minor dulling, and gradual thinning of metal from everyday use are not considered defects and are not covered under warranty.

Accidental Damage & Loss

Damage from impact, bending, crushing, exposure to harsh chemicals, or any accidental event is not covered. Lost or stolen pieces are not eligible for warranty replacement.

Unauthorized Modifications

Any piece that has been resized, engraved, repaired, or otherwise modified by a third-party jeweler is no longer eligible for warranty service. All repairs must be performed by Lihara to maintain warranty coverage.

Cosmetic Preferences

Changes in personal preference regarding the appearance of your piece — including color tone of the gold, diamond sparkle in different lighting, or general aesthetic — are not covered.

How to File a Claim

Step 1 — Contact Us

Email warranty@lihara.com with your order number, a brief description of the issue, and one or more clear photos showing the defect. Our team will review your claim and respond within two business days.

Step 2 — Ship the Piece

If the claim is approved, we will send you a prepaid, insured return shipping label. Pack the piece securely in its original box (or a padded jewelry box) and ship it to our Los Angeles facility.

Step 3 — Repair or Replacement

Once received, our team will inspect the piece and complete the repair. Most warranty repairs are completed within 5 to 10 business days. If a repair is not possible, we will replace the piece with an identical or equivalent item. You will receive tracking information when your piece ships back to you.

Additional Details

Transferability

The Lihara lifetime warranty is tied to the original purchase and is not transferable. If you gift a piece, the warranty remains active but claims must be submitted by the original purchaser or include the original order number.

Proof of Purchase

A valid order number or proof of purchase from lihara.com is required for all warranty claims. We keep records of every order, so your email address associated with the purchase is usually sufficient.

Complimentary Maintenance

We recommend having your piece inspected once a year to ensure prongs and settings remain secure. Send it in at any time and we will clean, inspect, and tighten settings at no charge — even if no warranty issue is present.
